Wow!

That's about all I can say about the final show for 2008 here at OKOMpromo.com House Concert Series.  Ellery and Micah Dalton drew a record crowd last Saturday night and had everyone mesmerized.  Tasha, Justin and Micah - Thank you very much!!

If you haven't ever seen either of these artists, make it a point to see them when they come near your town.  You won't be sorry!

We're taking a break here at OKOMpromo.com for the holidays and to catch our breath to get ready for next year's line up of artists.  You never know who might be stopping in here at The Basement.  Please visit often to keep up with our corner of the world.

We're glad you stopped by.  Our main goal is to promote the stars of tomorrow (and in some cases, yesterday) today.

If you aren't familiar with OKOM, it stands for "our kind of music", and if you are familiar with the term, then you're going to fit right in.  Hopefully, you recognize some of the folks in the banner above, like Edgehill Ave. or Kim Richey.  If you don't, you'll know a lot more about them and many others before you leave.  I don't know how many times I have heard someone say, "I wish I had known so and so was in town...I've wanted to see them for months!".  Now you'll have no excuse.

Be sure and visit every page in this site.  The information is being updated and added to every week, so visit often.  We have a photo album, a page full of official web sites of groups/artists, plus their MySpace site, if they have one.  There is a page of bios of various artists, a page with links to printed and/or online publications and links to videos (commercial and personal), a venue page listed by State/City and last, but not least, a page with links to tour dates.
